The German-English-Experts are not a big anonymous translation agency but a small company where personal contact with the client and excellent customer service are priorities. We handle all projects ourselves. If we outsource a job due to lack of time, we will only do this with your consent. In this way, we ensure that your documents stay confidential, and moreover, you will always have a contact person who knows your texts in every detail. Big translation companies often make contact between the client and translator impossible. This can negatively impact the quality of the translation.

The German-English-Experts consist of an American-German team:

Djamila Vilcsko is the owner of the company and takes care of the majority of the projects. She is a native speaker of German and successfully passed the MA in English and French. Djamila Vilcsko studied at the University of Dresden/Germany, the Universtiy of Potsdam/Germany and at Keele University/UK. She lived near San Francisco for several months. After her graduation, she was offered one of the prestigious Fulbright fellowships to teach German at an American college.

During her studies, Djamila Vilcsko contributed articles to the university magazine of the University of Potsdam and Keele University(UK). You can download some of the texts that were published at that time. The English translations of the German texts have been translated by Djamila Vilcsko herself.

Aaron Maltz is an American native speaker who recently moved to Germany. He teaches English as a Foreign Language at several language schools in Berlin and had worked in this profession for several years in his home state of California. He studied English (BA) in Hayward and likes to write poems and short stories in his free time. So he is the ideal man to edit English documents. He teaches English lessons for our small classroom in Berlin-Tiergarten.
